Summer Camp -- ROBO SUMO
For several years, the Titan Robotics Club holds a week-long summer camp almost entire planned and run by high school students. It features NXT LEGO robots and Adobe Flash. Teams of usually four students and two high school mentors have less than five days to design, build, and program a LEGO robot that will compete autonomously – that is, without any sort of remote control. This is done using sensors and clever programming!
This year’s challenge is fairly simple: push the other robot out of the sumo ring. However, this will not be as easy as it seems!
Summer camp will run from 20 June 2011 – 24 June 2011, 8:00am – 2:30pm. The pricing is as follows:
Robot Camp: $200
Flash Camp: $150
Both Camps: $300
As usual, the camp will be held at the International School (15305 SE 49th PL Bellevue, WA 98006).
We'll be putting up a page entirely dedicated to Summer Camp very soon, so check this website often!
The page is up! Please go to: http://titanrobotics.net/summer2011
We'll also be implementing an online registration process, so please be aware of that.
