Summer Camp 2011

Summer Camp for the 2011 summer will be held from June 20 2011 to June 24 2011 at International School. This year's theme will be "ROBO SUMO". Similar to previous years, we will hold a Flash camp in addition to a robotics camp.

Age

This camp is for 10 - 14 year olds. 

Time

June 20 2011 ~ June 24 2011 (Monday to Friday)

Everyday from 8:00 am ~2:30 pm

8:00am - 11:30am Robotics Camp with Lego Mindstorms

12:00pm - 2:30 pm Flash Camp with Adobe Flash

Robotics Camp with Lego Mindstorms

Students will learn to build and program a robot built from Lego Mindstorms kits for a week and compete in this year's game "ROBO SUMO" on the last the day of the camp. Students will learn the physics behind a successful robot and the basics of engineering as well as programming and debugging skills.

Flash Camp with Adobe Flash

Students will learn how to create animations using the popular and powerful Adobe Flash animation tool. Throughout the process they will explore different methods of making animations with Adobe Flash as they create their own animations.

Camp Prices

Participants may sign up for either or both camps.
$200 - Robotics Camp with Lego Mindstorms

$150 - Flash Camp with Adobe Flash

$300 - Robotics Camp & Flash Camp

Checks are the preferred method of payment.

Please make out the check to "Seattle Robotics Society" and write "TRC Summer Camp" in the memo section. Please mail the checks with the necessary forms mentioned below. Printed forms are also required in addition to the online registration, which is now available.
